The successful implementation of any curriculum innovation is directly or indirectly related to
the quality and quantity of teachers in the system. STAN has continuously been organising, on
an annual basis through its subject panels, various in-service training workshops for science
teachers. These workshops have become a regular and rewarding feature of STAN and are
usually rotated among the various States of the Federation.
