The Association maintains a National Secretariat at the premises of the Government College, Ibadan. It has a full-time Executive Director, Dr. Ben Akpan and other supportive staff of the Secretariat. At this time in Africa, STAN is the only science teachers association with a permanent paid Secretariat.
