STAN has a branch in each State of the Federation and one in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. State branches of STAN are responsible for the following:
- Efficient running of the Association within the States.
- Liaising with the National Secretariat, State Ministries of Education and other agencies in their States.
- Popularizing STAN and its activities within the State.
